Today we had made Tessellation with Miss Grant.This is my one it has different kind of colours and there are shapes of diamond.




I had made two Tessellation but this one is my favorite one like.

Aaron Just Got Fired

Summary:  Aaron Cruden had missed his flight to Argentina because he was at a bar drinking.  Aaron Cruden’s coach was not very happy and his coach fired him from the All Blacks team.  Aaron Cruden was deeply embarrassed because he got fired while everyone was watching.

Opinion:I think that people are not happy with Aaron Cruden because he just ran off  to a bar to drink. Why didn't he stay with his team and his coach?

 

A Surgery Goldfish Swimmingly

Summary:An Australian vet performed an incredible brain operation on a goldfish! It will now live up to 20 more years. George the goldfish’s owner lives in Melbourne and it was a $250 operation.

Opinion:Why does george need a $250 operation?Why does a goldfish need this surgery? I also can't believe that a goldfish can live up to another 20 years.

Restaurant Banks Ketchup

Summary:There was a 10 year old boy who wanted ketchup with his meal in Florida. The owner of  the restaurant was the chef and he said to the 10 year old boy  to not put his own ketchup on his meal. But the boy put the ketchup on his meal anyway.

Comment: I think that the boy should not put the ketchup that is not provided in his meal.People are not happy now that the restaurant owner didn't tell them that the ketchup was not provided.

Summary:There was a group of guards that was trying to make the people laugh but the British army wasn't happy about it.What do the people think ?That  the  marching band should get punished or should the British army just let it go.

Comment:I Think  that the guard wasn't doing  his job properly.  The Queen isn't sure about it either.

My Lovely Necklace

This is my lovely  necklace from Tamaki College.I made this  necklace with Mr grundy and he showed me  how to make  it.We found the shape online, cut it out of wood and filled the gap with pewter.

I Made This  beautiful heart  necklace  for my mum.

I think it is better to drink water and juice bottles instead of sports drinks but the children don’t really need sport drinks.

Sport drinks are not good for children because they really  wouldn't  know what is inside it. It’s also not healthy to let young kids drink these as it can make them sick. So they have to drink water instead of sports  drinks. In fact water is good for our body and I think water should be the only drink for kids when they get thirsty.

The all blacks defeated at the commonwealth games

The New Zealand Sevens team got beaten by South Africa in the final at the Commonwealth Games.South Africa won by 17-12 One of the New Zealand players was sin binned midway through the first half of the game.The New Zealand sevens were hoping to win the gold medal for the fifth time in a row.

The New Zealand sevens should be proud of themselves in winning the silver medal.

10 year old boy Graduate

There was a 10 year old boy that had graduated high school and his name was Tanishq Abraham. He started in a middle school but then he went to a high school.

His high school is in California.Tanishq was very proud of himself.He has achieved all this by himself and had to work very hard.

He had pulled out of elementary (primary)school while he was 7 years old because his class didn't   really challenge him enough.

The Movies

On Tuesday me and my family went to Sylvia Park to watch the new movies.When we got there we went for a walk around.Then we went to pak n save to buy some some snack for the  movie. When it was 12 o'clock  we saw Transformers part 3.

When we went in my dad was singing and it was embarrassing.  The movie started and my little sister started to sing ‘Let it go!’ My older sister closed her mouth. My favourite part was when the robot dinosaurs came and took out the bad ones and we were laughing hard out.

That was a great way to spend the day, especially when we had kfc afterwards.

The Jumping Devils

There was a man in Spain dressed up like a devil and jumped over lots of babies while they were laying on the floor. This  Happened  On Sunday after they had their  Corpus  Christi festival. The people had the most dangerous festival ever! The People were very thankful that none of  babies didn't get injured when the man jumped over them!

Having a Picnic With The Family

In the weekend My family and I walked to the park and had a picnic. We played touch while my parents were relaxing. After that  we played tag and had a feed.  I didn’t want to go home after that because it was nice at the park. It was a very slow walk home.

Pewter Casting

Mr Grundy explained to us at tech that we will be using pewter alloy to create a necklace and he also told us all the safety rules for his class. We watched an instructional video or ‘how to’ explaining the steps and ways to create the necklace.

I am going to choose a silhouette and trace it on to some wood, make a cast then pour the liquid pewter in for the final shape. I can’t wait to use the different sandpapers to buff my necklace up all shiny.

I will give it to him and he will polish it up with brasso to make it extra shiny.Then you add the clip to your pewter and then you put your necklace around your neck and clip it and that how you really make a necklace.

D-Day

The word D-day means when the allies landed at Normandy, France on June 6th, 1944. Over 150,00 allied soldiers landed.There is a actor who had played in the scottie in the star at the trek while during the Omaha that were landing.And that Jonathan was there Mayo that’s has all the answers to it.

They were celebrating the war that was a photograph that when robert the captain was in the second and they went to a wave of the troops and to land at the beach called Omaha beach.

My New Blue Sport Shoes

Last Tuesday was a fine day because  my parents bought me my new sport  shoes  from the warehouse. They only cost$19.00. I like wearing these sports  shoes because they make me seem fit and strong and fast.These are really good shoes for when I play sports. I like them.

Dog on a log

There was a dog that everyone thought had been washed away on a log out  to sea and a navy ship saw it and rescued the dog. We found out today the dog had really jumped off it’s owner’s boat when he was crayfishing and was going to pick the dog up after.

Our Training Coach

Today was a fine day because I had lots of fun. When the coach came, she taught us netball skills. My favourite part was the warm up and the first throwing skills. I needed to keep on passing the ball  to my group.I really tried to catch the ball and pass it to others in my group. We had to listen hard otherwise she might not

come back.

Hi my name is Magdalen I go to Ruapotaka school. I am a year 7. I do lots of different things at school.  My favourite subject at school is writing.  I am 12 years old. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. They go to the same school as me but are in different classes. My favourite food is KFC.
